The American Iris Society offers a wide-range of activities and resources to our community of iris loving gardeners. Some resources like the IRIS encyclopedia, a directory of registered irises, are free to the public others like our full-color, quarterly publication IRISES , monthly eNewsletter News & Notes, and digital archive of AIS publications are only available to members. The AIS offers several types of memberships. Most memberships are offered on a single (one person) or dual (two persons at one address) basis.

Print Membership
The printed copy of the AIS Bulletin, IRISES, is mailed to you quarterly. If you only want the printed AIS Bulletin, this membership type is for you. No access to online services
- Single Print Membership: one year $30, three years (triennial) $70
- Dual Print Membership (receives only one print copy): one year $35, three years (triennial) $85
E-membership
This is the most affordable plan, which contains online services for the budget-conscious gardener.
E-members receive access to the AIS Iris Register, the online database of iris registrations and introductions maintained by The American Iris Society. The AIS is recogniszed and acknowledged as the official world registry of non-bulbous iris cultivars. E-members also have access to the entire AIS Digital Library. The digital library contains AIS Bulletin issues in PDF format from the very first edition in 1920 to the present, The AIS Basic Iris Culture booklet (a full-color comprehensive reference on growing all types of iris), as well as other special AIS publications. (E-members do not receive a print copy of the AIS bulletin.)
- One year E-membership: $15,
- Three year (triennial) E-membership: $45
Full Membership
This is the most complete of all memberhip types – it combines the benefits of both Print and E-membership. It includes a quarterly printed copy of the AIS Bulletin, IRISES, and also digital access to the same, which is available sooner than the mailed print copy. Full members receive access to the AIS Iris Regiser: the online database of iris registrations and introductions maintained by The American Iris Society. Full members also have access to the AIS digital library. The digital library contains AIS Bulletin issues in PDF format from the very first edition in 1920 to the present, The AIS Basic Iris Culture booklet (a full-color comprehensive reference on growing all types of iris), as well as other special AIS publications.
- Single full membership: one year $45, three years (triennial) $115
- Dual full memberhip (received only one print copy): one year $50, three years (triennial) $130
