American Iris Society sanctioned exhibitions are held by local clubs when peak iris bloom is expected in their area. These shows are ideal places to see varieties of irises which grow well in your area and to meet fellow gardeners who can offer cultural tips on growing irises well suited to your climate.
All AIS exhibitions follow the same format with specimens exhibited as cut stalks, potted plants, and artistic designs featuring irises. AIS certified judges evaluate each entry for cultural perfection and varietal conformance. AIS sanctioned shows are always open and free to the public.

Exhibition Listings are updated throught the season and are posted on the AIS Iris Encyclopedia. Many clubs sponsor several shows a year with early and late Spring bloom and even Fall rebloom shows. Check the list frequently to see if new shows have been added to the schedule.
